Error initializing cutter????????

Thanks in advance for any help.

When I try to cut in Signblazer it give the message

"Can not open the out put device Error initializing cutter"

In the setup on signblazer it gives me a list of com1 - Com8 and in device manager my USB plugs are COM13, COM14, COM15 and COM16. I have an Acer laptop with Vista. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Thanks Skeeter, I had already done all that. I fixed it by reassigning a lower number to that USB Port.

I'm receiving the same error but when I went to http://start.uscutter.com/ my plotter isn't listed. I have a Graphtec CE3000-60. Is this particular plotter not compatible with Sign Blazer?

your Graphtec is an older cutter. Those are instructions for new cutters that UsCutter sells. Go to a previous post of yours. I answered your question.
