alhco 1 Posted November 18, 2011 I have a Laserpoint 24 and use Signcut software. I have a problem that just started: on smaller cuts, the edges are not meeting correctly on letters or there are jagged edges. I've attached a picture of one example. I have tried both a 45 degree and 60 degree blade and have adjusted the blade offset and pressure in both directions. Any other suggestions on what might be causing this problem?
mr300s 1,272 Posted November 19, 2011 Make sure there is not a small piece of vinyl stuck in the holder and a drop of oil or some graphite wouldn't hurt because the bla'de has to spin. Also make sure that the holder hasn't come off the track.....
alhco 1 Posted November 19, 2011 I checked for vinyl pieces and added a drop of oil. The blade appears to be spinning. Not sure how to check that the holder is on track but it appears to be in the correct position. Any other ideas? It only happens on smaller lettering. dasfreak 1 Posted February 27, 2014 Could be that your graphic isn's smooth. Take a look at the nodes and make sure your vector is smooth.
