PapierDeLys 0 Posted November 12, 2011 So I'll design an image in CorelDraw x5 and export it to esp for SB. When I import to SB it will show vectors that I didn't intend for it to. I think that if I were able to cut right from CorelDraw that all of my problems would be solved but since I can't seem to figure how to do that I'm stuck with SB So Instead I'm hoping someone can share some fast ways of cleaning up my files when I do import them into SB. I'be been cutting for near about two years and think that I have a pretty good understanding of how everything works but if anyone knows please type it out very simply. Thanks Check out the types of things I cut, most of them are more complex though.

Bob How to cut direct from Illustrator & COREL Hi Guys First of all you must get a NULL MODEM CABLE to go from computer to (plotter) cutter. Make sure it’s a NULL MODEM CABLE and not just a PRINTER CABLE. Null Modem serial cables allows two DTE or DCE devices to communicate with no conflict in data transmission Then convert your line weight to the thinnest (the one with 2 ARROWS). Set all lines at Wire frame. Export as a .DXF file. Send your .DXF file to your Printer. Set your printer preference to your plotter cutter at PRINT. REMEMBER YOU MUST CUT FROM A .DXF file. This works for me and I hope it works for you. Thank You, Bob Bigart quote] Cut from Corel-1-1.doc

PapierDeLys 0 Posted January 29, 2012 I must be doing something wrong. I ordered the wire but still haven't been able to get anything set up. Am I missing something here? I am pulling my hair out over this!!!!!!!!! I've been designing and cutting maybe a year now. I use CorelDraw x5 to design and export to SignBlazer for cutting. What's the problem you ask? When I import to SignBlazer there are nodes that are created that are not in the original and it takes me hours to delete them. I think that all my problems will be solved if I were able to cut directly from CorelDraw. I have an MH 721 (http://www.uscutter....es+Vinyl+Cutter) and a USB to Serial adapter cable (http://www.usbfirewi...rr-usb-017.html). How can I cut directly from CorelDraw. I have been trying to find drivers, install my MH 721 as a printer and I've got nothing accomplished. I've literally been trying to accomplish this for 3 weeks. I think I've read every forum here on the topic and have tried to follow them all to no avail. Can anyone explain to me from Step 0 to completion? I read responses here (http://forum.uscutte...ack-cut-direct/) and hope someone can help can help fix this My equipment: PC- Inspiron mini -http://www.dell.com/us/dfh/p/inspiron-mini10/pd Cutter - MH 721 - http://www.uscutter.com/index/page/product/product_id/1548/category_id/3/product_name/USCutter+MH-series+Vinyl+Cutter Null modem cable - http://www.usbfirewire.com/parts/rr-usb-017.html Scanner cable - http://www.amazon.com/Cables4PC-PRINTER-SCANNER-CABLE-CANON/dp/B000UWIGGS (not used when trying setup printing) Thanks
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted January 29, 2012 when you are saving your Corel files, are you saving them as a version 8 .eps..? Signblazer is not updated software. needs older format... People using newer Illustrator also have to save back to a version 8.eps Owner passed away several years ago, and this Signblazer is older software.
