RazorConcepts 0 Posted October 22, 2011 I just got my first cutter (MH series 14") and it has been fun learning how to use it. I'm trying to cut 1.25 mil copper foil. So far here is what I have: (speed 100, pressure 30) Is there a way to get rid of those roller marks above? Above, the corner isn't perfectly square. From what i've read it could be a bad offset, but I can't find an option to change it. Also, in the corner of the star it peeled - is it because the speed is too fast? Thanks, and sorry for all of the newbie questions!
mgraphics 14 Posted October 22, 2011 I never cut foil back when I had an mh but I never could get rid of roller marks on my media if you loosen the rollers to much you start to have tracking problems but i never had a customer complain about them. As for your corners I would definitely use a fresh blade and adjust your offset what program are you using to cut?
Ravenwind / One Off Grafx 187 Posted October 22, 2011 Yes we would have to know what program you are running to help with the offset. As for the lifting speed pressure sharpness of the blade and blade type can play a big part in that. Just my 2 cents worth
deth502 39 Posted October 22, 2011 As for the lifting speed pressure sharpness of the blade and blade type can play a big part in that. Just my 2 cents worth and also the amount of blade exposed. it can be a balancing act sometimes. my first thing would be to turn down both the force and speed.
