tjb1 1 Posted September 12, 2011 When cutting, the blade seems to rip up the vinyl, small details are usually detached from the backing paper before I get a chance to weed. Is this because of the poor quality greenstar paper? or is the MH-871 not capable of the small details?
arty-rc 719 Posted September 12, 2011 You need to fine tune your blade. Take the time to set the proper blade depth and pressure. Be patient. I have a MH-365 that will cut font as small as 3/16 inch. The center of some letters is smaller than a ball point pen tip. Read some of the posts on this forum for help. We all started there. Also, try weeding after you apply the vinyl. I do most of my glassware that way.
