T-Shirt Lady 2 Posted January 28, 2008 is a bit on the steep side I think. Maybe it's just my supplier but is 39.99 for 5 yds of 15" wide the norm? Do you know of any alternatives or similar products for less? Thanks in advance
JoeCamaro 11 Posted January 28, 2008 I dont know about that brand, but I get my t shirt vinyl from a local supplier for 8.35 per yard (for basic colors) and up to 10.50 for metallics and stuff like that. So I guess price should be around that range. I know of cheaper t shirt vinyl that I could get locally but it feels so stiff. I dont like it at all. So I rather pay more for a better product. Lets see what others say about the price, but I find it ok. JC
Guest fivestar Posted January 28, 2008 That is right around the going price for it. I used multicut from www.jotopaper.com it is about the same price but comes in 20" width.
T-Shirt Lady 2 Posted January 30, 2008 Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure as I'm new to fabric vinyl. I'm okay with the thermo-flex but I wouldn't mind trying new products as well. Especially some glitter types. I'm really enjoying my new MH721
Cutrix 0 Posted February 8, 2008 I took fivestar's advice and ordered some multicut about a month ago. Worked great and more for the money in my opinion. Thanks for the good advice fivestar.
ff-extreme 6 Posted February 8, 2008 Hey Joe what brand is it you use?
JoeCamaro 11 Posted February 8, 2008 I use Poli-Flex brand. It is a product of a German company called Poli-Tape, but in a recent conversation with Zal, he noticed that Thermo-flex said A Product of Poli-Tape USA. So we got to the conclution they are the same thing. Joe
Guest fivestar Posted February 8, 2008 You're welcome curtix. Yes multicut looks, feels and presses just like thermoflex plus and it is cheaper per sq in.
