Creation PCUT vs Copam CP for mac 10.6.7

I purchased a Goldcut 721 - but in spite of truly remarkable customer service - new keyspan - new cable - trying every driver - we can not seem to get it running on my mac (version 10.6.7).

While I know there are some fixes - they don't seem to be working - it might be that I have a bad cutter - but I'm not sure I'm willing to trade out for another Goldcut with the possibility of having the same issues.

So - I'm trying to decide which cutter to change to - and this is where I need some mac user help.

Would you get a:

Creation PCUT (same cost as Goldcut)

Copam CP Series (costs more but willing to do this if it works well with macs)

I just set up my system with the same OSX and a RefineMH871 maybe I can help. I'm not using the keyspan, maybe you could try the straight usb and how I set up my system.
