fong 0 Posted April 15, 2011 Hi just getting ready to buy my first vinyl cutter and was wondering what vinyl is easyest to weed (see weeding lines). I plan on using the cutter to make masks for painting Thanks Ken
fong 0 Posted April 15, 2011 Sorry meant easiest color to see lines. Thanks Ken.
prestonservco 26 Posted April 15, 2011 Personally, I like red. When I'm cutting mask for sandblasting, and the color doesn't matter, I use red. White seems to be the hardest to see.

BearlyRich 167 Posted April 15, 2011 May be me, but I haven't found a big difference between colors, except white. Now, with white, if you wipe your hand across the cuts, especially if things are not quite as clean as they're supposed to be, you can fill the cut lines with, ummm, residue. Okay, the way I found this out was by accidentally dropping a small amount of pipe ash onto a graphic and trying to wipe it off. Had nothing to do with "dirt". I found the ash pulverized instantly and then filled the cut lines making them almost black. I actually liked it for weeding...
Rodger 527 Posted April 15, 2011 A glass table with a light under it works good as does fine pepper .
