PeteS 0 Posted April 14, 2011 Ok so I download and install SignBlazer from the Uscutter site and I get version 6.0.21 works with my cutter just fine has the nag screen but I just use it as trial and it works fine. Now I also have a choice to run SignBlazer 5.5 Hot Shot demo. So I try it......no nag screens and talk about features this thing is jam packed with stuff that 6.0.21 does not offer. Import or open art work like you would expect and have a ton of extra things to work with that makes Signblazer feel like the best program on earth. The down side and the reason I'm posting this is it is most defiantly a demo version. There is no way to save the work you have open. The save and save as box's are grayed out even if the work is selected. It seems as if it's being blocked. The other issue is trying to cut. The setup for the cutter list's like 100+ cutters and gives a lot more choices on how to configure the cutter it self HOWEVER none of the changes can be applied making it imposable to cut any thing. I am content with the working trial version 6.0.21 but have this nagging feeling that this 5.5 version would make things a lot easier and my work could be better. Is there any way to make this 5.5 Hot Shot demo save ? I could care less if I can't cut from it but the abilty to save the work and use 6.0.21 for cutting would be fine. I'm sure some one has info on this on where to get it or how to make the other version work. I know it is no longer supported as the creator passed away some years back but given the programs features in this 5.5 demo I'm sure some one has figued out a way to make it usable. Please help it's driving me crazy to see that I can open and create work so much faster and then not be able to do any thing with it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
BearlyRich 167 Posted April 14, 2011 As far as I've found out, there is no way to get Hot Shot or the Pro version to work. I agree with you though. Boy, I'd sure love to have those features enabled!
