RMDelete 0 Posted March 20, 2011 Ok...so I am working on a project and wouls like to be able to go look for replacement parts but have no idea what this thingamabob is called that holds the rollers in place... here's the pic. I'm not sure what the technical or official name is. Really all I care to replace are those channels not the entire metal arm. Can anyone help me here with either a part name or number? I would appreciate any help at all! Thanks guys!
AshComputers 197 Posted March 20, 2011 What brand of cutter? or plotter?
RMDelete 0 Posted March 20, 2011 What brand of cutter? or plotter? sorry I originally composed this thread using my "smart" phone and it didn't even catch my typo in "Please" lol the stand belongs to my old Dessay Master cutter hmm... I think XY600 or something like that, I'm only guessing off the top of my head right now, but as far as I know I think many stands have this particular part no matter what brand they are, the brand does not matter to me because I plan on maybe sourcing the part and use that part to build myself a smaller roll holder that I can easily break down and take with me places. But again... maybe I should just buy the roll holder hahaha I am just really wanting to work on this project and have no idea what the roll holder channel part is called soo I'm not getting anywhere right now, I apologize that I forgot to mention the make and model of my plotter since it may be crucial to sourcing names of parts
AshComputers 197 Posted March 20, 2011 Your calling them channels, do you mean brackets? Like this one? The brackets that hold the rollers? http://www.uscutter....kets_p_658.html Hope this helps
RMDelete 0 Posted March 20, 2011 Hmm I don't know I clicked that link but there is no image that shows that it is exactly... are they called brackets? I wish that there was an image in that link so I could be 100% sure, I guess I could always just "google" brackets hmm....
