Blade not coming down?

I have a MH 721 that has been working perfectly until now. It goes through all the motions of cutting (feeds vinyl, head moves, etc) EXCEPT the blade doesn't come down to touch the vinyl. The only time the blade drops down is when I shut the power off. I have tried rebooting the cutter and the computer, but nothing helps.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like another z axis chip bites the dust

Thanks for the info guys. I called and they are sending me a z chip and a ground wire.
