jhumbeutel 1 Posted February 7, 2011 My cutter has been freezing up during long cuts. Many of you suggested to get a Keyspan USB serial adapter. So I hooked that up and now it isn't freezing up. However, I noticed that my lettering is all misplaced. Do I need to calibrate something?? Using signcut with a laserpoint 24. Any ideas? Thanks
cutme 5 Posted February 7, 2011 no, you need to get a full serial cable and give up on the usb. it will end 99% of your cutter problems. bb

Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted February 7, 2011 get and older dektop for a dedicated cutting computer - then just design on the laptop, take it to the desktop that is always ready to cut. no panic when your main computer crashes and you can't cut
