locknload1 17 Posted November 18, 2010 I've done many painted and porus surfaces like cloth (awnings) and the likes with MacTac 8300 and the vinyl seems to be sticking just fine without sealing. I originally thought the cloth would be first to fail due to the saturation in the rain combined with the flexing and stretching courtesy of the elements however it's still holding fast... prototype66 20 Posted November 18, 2010 also keep in mind Kilz is an Interior primer. I hope you at least painted a couple finish coats over it to seal it.

prototype66 20 Posted November 22, 2010 It was indoor/outdoor yes it is a primer but also a sealer. Yea I forgot they make all sorts of primers now. Just want to be careful of not putting a topcoat over primer if it is just a primer even if it is a sealer too. I've been painting for 24 years. Watch the warranty. redos cost more than a job done right! Just sayin.
