Newbie needs help position vinyl

I have a Laserpoint 24 and am using SignCut Pro. I have a 12" vinyl roll and am trying to cut several different smaller items across the 12" width in order to conserve vinyl. However, I can't figure out how to position the head to make this work. If I do the first item that's say 3" x 3", then I want to cut two more items that are 3" x 3" beside it instead of just rolling the vinyl and wasting everything on either side of it, I can't figure out how/where to move the head to make this happen. Is there a good guide somewhere that explains positioning the vinyl and jogging the head?

There should be an "Online" button. If you press it the cutter will be off line then you can use the arrow buttons to position your cutter head where you want the next cut to start. Once positioned press the Home button. (usually in the middle of the arrow buttons.) Press the online button and you are ready to cut.
