Steel546 0 Posted November 8, 2010 So I've been using Enduramask Application tape, but it's been giving me some problems. I'm using Oracle 651 and some 631 vinyl, and the tape doesn't always stick to the vinyl, or pull the vinyl off the backing. I'm a little new and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a different tape. I'm also looking for a tape that's fairly clear, as Enduramask is kinda hard to see through when I'm double layering. So to sum up: - Not sticking well - Prefer clear application tape Thanks! JoeDirt 5 Posted November 8, 2010 I use T-Tape 4075 RLA for 631 wallvinyl http://www.uscutter.com/RTape-ApliTape-4075--High-tack-General-Purpose-Application-Tape-100yd_p_143.html and 4076 for 651 http://www.uscutter.com/RTape-Conform-Series-4076-RLA--High-tack-Application-Tape-with-RLA-100yd_p_144.html
Steel546 0 Posted November 8, 2010 Is it clear or does it look like masking tape?
Jay2703 704 Posted November 8, 2010 Check to make sure you are not cutting too deep. If you cut into the backing paper it makes it hard for the application tape to pull the vinyl off for some reason.
Steel546 0 Posted November 8, 2010 Hmm, I'll look into it. It was cutting deep before, but I changed the pressure and the actual amount of blade that was sticking out. I'm really just looking for a good clear tape to use.

JoeBlow 5 Posted November 8, 2010 Check to make sure you are not cutting too deep. If you cut into the backing paper it makes it hard for the application tape to pull the vinyl off for some reason. It forces the adhesive down into the backing paper Joe
