Flexi Starter 8.5 on a mac, questions..

So my free one year with sign cut is up.. and someone else here was nice enough to provid me with some info to flexi starter, and because of the cost of sign cut I believe I'll be trying flexi starter.. Few questions though before I buy..

That's the link to the one they sent me, and I'm wondering as it says on the bottom it may need a usb adapter for some cutters.

I'm running a Macbook OS X 10.5.8 with the US CUTTER MH-Series, does anyone know if I'll be needing this?

Also, is flexi starter easy to get up and running, and where can I find the driver codes? I can't be out of cutting for too long as I'm always doing small orders constantly..

Any info from someone using or has used flexi, and what I'll need to do will be great..
