mforsman 0 Posted October 24, 2010 I am currently providing RTA decals to friends and associates and someone just came to me with a request for a 9" x 38" decal. I currently have rolls of 24" material and I was wondering what the standard was for this. Can I take the scrap that is left over and re-use it on my laserpoint? Jay2703 704 Posted October 25, 2010 I save long strips for just such a reason. You should be able to cut as narrow as 2" on your laserpoint.
mforsman 0 Posted October 25, 2010 Great to know, I'll give it a try. I know it sounds like a stupid question to most, but I didn't want to ruin or damage anything.
devildog 0 Posted October 25, 2010 You need at least a 2.5" strip to cut on a Laserpoint. With the rollers pushed all the way together, there is just about 2.5" from one to the other so I would actually recommend a 3" strip for cutting at a minimum. Scraps can be your friend and I recommend saving every piece that can be cut again. I wont throw away any vinyl unless it is too small to cut or I can't find a use for it somewhere.
