New 27"iMac, and Graphtec CE5000-60

This is what i am planning on purchasing, is there anything I need to beware of?  Was thinking of using CS5 with the CM2 plugin, and also add any other free/lowcost software and see what I like the feel of.  Any input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

$2000 for a computer and $500-1500 for the CS5 Suite and you want free cutting software? I am currently using SignCut, the one year license that came with my cutter has been great. I plan on buying a lifetime license once this runs out.

SignBlazer is free & available here in it's section . Many members use it ( as I do ) .

my point was that after buying CS5 I didn't want to buy a second software suite without being able to try a few things first.  Have people had ghood luck with the plug-in for AI CS5 from graphtec?

see my prior post, you will not need anything else in my opinion,

I have CS5, CM2, and latest OSX.

just change the Communication on the cutter to the choice (other that the default setting)

I don't remember, but I think I had to move CM2 plugin manually to the Illustrator plugin folder.

no other issues.
