PTS 0 Posted October 18, 2010 I have the MH-721, SignBlazer, and a USB connection to my Vista computer. Im cutting Easywwed vinyl for shirts I have to get done by tomorrow. I cut one with no problems then on the second one my blade isnt lifting. I have it well grounded from cutter to stand and plugged into a grounded outlet. Did some static get through anyway and cause this? Any way to fix it or do I need to replace the motherboard? I dont have the time to wait for a new one without putting this customer off....again, and was hoping it was fixable.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted October 18, 2010 if it is not lifting at all it is probably static killed the z axis chip - put in a support ticket so they can run thru the diagnostics to make sure. That is after you have rebooted the cutter and computer just to make sure
kenimes 42 Posted October 27, 2010 If it is not a static issue- probably need to replace the carriage.
