insanevinyls 0 Posted September 30, 2010 can anybody give me advice on how this type of cutout effect is done?
Jay2703 704 Posted September 30, 2010 Outline the green text then punch the outline through the pink text. Erase the outline.
insanevinyls 0 Posted September 30, 2010 What do you mean exactly by punch the outline through the pink. I have them over lapping each other now with a boarder around the words on top.
Jay2703 704 Posted September 30, 2010 Punch through is done in SignBlazer by selecting both elements, Arrange + Weld + Punch Through. It removes the area that is common to both elements from the bottom element. Other software have similar features.
firemalt 10 Posted September 30, 2010 The word "ground" had and outline added on top of the captial "G"... then you select the two, and punch the items, and it will delete the portion where the outline covered the G. Then you just move the original "ground" back in place to give the desired look.
