dnewcomb 0 Posted September 29, 2010 Ahoy - I've got a Refine 751MH cutter...has been running well for a year. Just lately on big cut jobs, it seems to be creeping forward during cutting. When it comes time to do the weeding lines (lets say on a 50cm long job) it's creeped forward on the vinyl about 2cm. So the weed lines are cutting into the product. Not sure why it's doing it either. Some details: Windows XP Adobe Illustrator as editor Sign Cut X2 as cutting software The cutter runs over SERIAL cable, not USB or anything. MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted September 29, 2010 have you tried tightening your pinch rollers a little for slipage.?
dnewcomb 0 Posted September 29, 2010 Yup, gave em all a good couple of turns. Gonna suck cause the knobbled roller underneath is pointy enough to leave marks on the vinyl.

dnewcomb 0 Posted October 3, 2010 Thanks guys - turned out to be a bevvy of problems. 1. Loose grips 2. Blunt blade (but it was cutting fine...ish) 3. Gunk hiding on a guide.
