stunad jr. 0 Posted September 18, 2010 After cutting a job, I want to cut a different file on the same roll of vinyl. How do I set the ce5000 to advance, say 20mm so I can cut a new file? It is returning to the "home" position now. I just cant figure this out!! Anyone that can help me I would surely appreciate it!!! Thanks!
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 18, 2010 do you mean cut another design before you cut off the previous order from the cutter?, just run back to back orders? Please explain more. what cutting software are you using?
stunad jr. 0 Posted September 18, 2010 I'm using signblazer and I also use illustrator/cutmaster2. Same thing happens on both. I just cant figure it out! When I use signblazer with my pcut I don't have this problem. It advances so I can do the next job without it traveling all the way back to the original starting position. MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 18, 2010 I was hoping he was already had that checked, since he has a Pcut,, If you don't know where advance after plot is in Cutting Master, upper left corner of Cut/plot screen > below properties, is 4 pictures> farthest to the right is a picture of a blade> click it> at the top is advance after plot, hope that works for you. MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 18, 2010 On Signblazer you need to be on Hp-GL. see if that works. your welcome
stunad jr. 0 Posted September 18, 2010 I just changed the plotter to hp-gl, but it's still doing the same thing. I am using "craft robo" under cutter in the cutter setup menu. Is there a way to change hp-gl in signblazer?

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 18, 2010 Your welcome, You could try a different cutter in Signblazer. Like set it up as a different model, and see if that works. also in your background settings PRIORITY SETTING on your cutter, try it on Command.
