Y Axis scale compensation on the CS630?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My CS630 is cutting on Y axis a bit too small: I have to extand the lenght of my drawing X 1.046 to get the right final lenght on vinyl.

I do not find anything in the menu to set the Y scale.

Does anyone know how to do? I find nothing about it in the manual.

Another thing is: It plots like in a miror and I have to flip my drawing horizontaly to get the cutting all right.

It would make my life easyer if someone could anwer to that

thanks in advance

Philippe

Hello,

I have seen your manual, very well done. But I have a CS630 and no mode button. ;D

And in the software I use ( Glasseye ) I do not have the possibiliy to make Y comp. My only solution is to do it in the plotter itself

regards

sorry, but it is not a stained glass, Just an etched decorative elongated octogon window. I remodeled a few years ago.  It was purchased at a building material chain here in the US, has a reflective mirror on the outside so people can't see in.  I love it.

make a picture of the control panel of the plotter.

if it is not the mode key it must have an other name or sign.

Hello Paco

Here are the images of the control pane and one of the display where you can see, as explained in the manual also joined, that it is only the total lenght already cuted since last reset... ;D

Thank you

Philippe

OK that is clear.

CS seems to have so different display settings as the CR versions.

Wonder if there is a secret menu as I assume at the factory they also do test for correct Y and X cuting.

What does your distibutor says about it?

Sorry I could not help you in this.

Thank you anyway. Me reseller is goldenplotter on ebay. He does not know much about the use of the machines he sells as I have red on different forums...

I will continue to search and if I find the "secret menu" I will let you know. I am certainly not the onlyone with this problem, but the CS is quite recent.

In the mean time, I will continue to to not to forget to fip and resize my drawings BEFORE each plotting.

Best regards

Philippe

That says enough.

Do not know if you contact the factory itselve if they give away the secret menu.

Worth to try.
