Stuff4Toys 2 Posted July 14, 2010 I understand how to do layered shadows and have a clue how to do just a shadow without the overlay. Here's my question. I want to do layered fonts, a larger character with a proportional character over the top so the shadow or outline shows equally all the way around the inside character. Clear as Mud? Let me know if I need to describe the effect better. Also are there shadowed (2 part) fonts available? or are these all done with overlays?

There are probably easy ways to get this look in your favorite vector program, and certainly it can be done in Photoshop. If you're looking for an outline, this is a 'stroke' layer effect. Easy as pie. If you want a drop shadow, just copy the text to a new layer and offset it, and you could designate this as a different vinyl color. Separate layers as needed before cut and you're good to go.
darkfire 0 Posted May 28, 2015 I think this is what he is trying to do. And for that fact so am I. How do you make it happen
30-284 86 Posted June 21, 2015 In SCALP, take your rubicon and create a shadow around it and your done. Then separate, add registration marks and cut.
