hawkeyeent 0 Posted July 14, 2010 Here goes my first upload to the site! Let me know what ya'll think. I did the white outline for the race car numbers a little over a month ago at the track. I basically cut 1/4" x 3' stripes out of Oracal 651 and "pinstriped" it all by hand. I LOVE pinstriping with vinyl. The second picture is a skateboard I did for (take a deep breath...) My father in law's - girlfriend's- grandson (phew!) I just finished it within the last 2 hours and it looked great...minus the graphic was a more flat/matte black color than the board he painted. So... I felt the best option would be to splice/"wrap" the board in the flatter color. I told him to put 2-3 coats of gloss protectant over it and hopefully it will glare out some of the splice marks.

hawkeyeent 0 Posted July 14, 2010 Here's a BMW Z3 I did 2 years ago. It was my first racing stripe job, and most nerve racking!

bbreault 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Great work!!! I have a quick question that most likely needs a simple answer but when doing racing stripes on the BMW, How do you go about cutting around the emblem and then under the grill safely without having to worry about cutting paint or anything else?
