buckaroo2197 0 Posted June 23, 2010 I have a Roland PNC-950 ( great machine BTW ). It sat on the shelf for a couple of years and now it will not cut the entire image. The PC, software, cables and configuration have not changed. It does cut a simple image ( the small "plane" that installs with the CASMate software ). Yeah I know the S/W is very old too, but it still works, although the dongle is a pain in the butt. I only have 1 old PC that the software will work on and I am too cheap to buy a new one. The cutter is connect via Centronics cable to the PC's parallel port. The cutter's selftest does cut the "CAMM-1" sticker and it does cut the blade pressure test 'patch'. The problem seems to be in the handshaking, but there is not much to set up when using the parallel connection. Anybody got any ideas?
