Being one color, may I ask why printing instead of vinyl ?

Just a question  ;)

Yep, Less work. I had it printed, hem taped and grommeted in about 20 minutes.

I know ink isn't cheap...how would tyou say it compares, cost-wise, to vinyl?

I'm very curious about the cost comparison too. Price per square foot compared to vinyl.

What do you think it comes to when using ink?

I use a total cost figure of .65 cents a square foot for 13 oz. banner vinyl and ink combined.  It's probably a lot less than that, but when in doubt I always round up, although my work isn't quoted on a strict cost plus basis.  It's less work to print, but then I have to trim the banner material to size, hem, and grommet - Premade blanks won't go through my Mutoh.  If I can get $5.00 sq/ft for either a printed or cut vinyl banner I am happy.

Inks around $.30 PSF so in just ink it only cost $2.25 on a 30" machine

To compare vinyl to printing (banners in this case) we have to take few  things in consideration:

1. Printer

2. quality print set up(on printer)

3. Type of the Eco Solvent ink used (Roland, or 3rd party ink)

4. Price payed for material.

5. Time spent producing  banner.

My cost per SQFt for 13OZ banner (ink and material ) is $0.24

I charge $4.5 sqft , so my profit is...............Nice

From a price standpoint it sounds great. But for me,anyway, it kinda takes the fun out of it. Besides, I spend too much time sitting on my a$$ as it is.

Looking Good!

What type of substrate will they be mounted on?

Just coroplast 4mm, Customer is just having the stand for a few months so they need the most affordable signage they can get so that's what i paired them with. Getting $60.50 each for the 2 signs mounted.
