HELP... Trying to get graphics from Corel Draw X5 to signcut software to MH 871

Recommended Posts

I have ben trying to figure out how to get a logo, design for me in Corel Draw into signcut and ultimately on to my MH871...

I have other files I was plotting but wanted changes made and now the signcut software shows a bunch of extra lines...

How can I make the solid portions of my logo and text stay solid and just tell the cutter to cut around the shapes...

UUUUGGGGGHHHHH ! like 6 hours now on this...  Any help would be way more than appreciated...

I need to get some logos cut and on my camper by Wednesday...

i just use the free stuff.  inkscape and signblazer.

i use inkscape to open jpegs and turn them into eps files.

then i import the eps into sb, and clean it up from there. i prefer to do my node editing in sb, as i find it easier. in inkscape, i have to click each node to select it then i can delete it, in sb, i can just hold down the delete button and sweep the cursor over a whole line of nodes.

i think the main problem with the fire and tent was that there was a black and white layer, instead of just the black outline. i did play with it for a while and get most of it cuttable, but i wouldnt be able to explain what i did.

I use coreldraw x4 and really like it. It took a while to learn but worth it.

My computer will not run inkscape for some reason.

The problem with your file was the line widths use to draw the file.

I had to create a new object around the lines(in corel ctrl+shift+Q) and weld and combine them to get the desired outcome.

Did not viwed page 2  :)

Double work.............. :)

Same conclusion.

Your file has double layers.

I converted it to .eps in inkscape.

Openend it in Coreldraw.

If you import into Signcut it will ask to remove double vectors, if you do not it will multiple cut some parts.

I also welded some parts to make it full.

Remember that a picture vectorized 99% always need rework.

Cleaned .eps is attached.

Enjoy
