MH 721 Cutting crooked?

Recommended Posts

Has anybody else had issues with MH 721 cutting crooked?

I even made sure the vinyl was straight by putting it in the machine, applying hte pinch rollers and running the vinyl out the front to make sure it is feeding straight and it still cuts crooked...

Does the vinyl end up crooked at the end of the cut?

Sounds like blade way too far out of holder (thus dragging the vinyl)

or

Too high pressure on blade

or

One pinch roller has a different pressure than the other

or

The machine is trying to pull the vinyl off the roll because you didn't play it out first.

The blade is only about half a credit card out of the holder. I double checked and the pinch rollers seem to have the same pressure on all of them.

Here is a photo of what it is doing.

Hm. Not sure.  I think that you're probably struggling with aligning the vinyl to start with.

Try doing a search for "alignment procedure"  - I there's a thread out there with SEVERAL suggestions.

I'm curious:  Which end of you picture was cut first?  Also, mabe post the file so we can see if there is a problem there.  Have you tried cutting other things?

if that www is in line on the file you cut I would enter a support ticket and get some help from USC

Might not be this, but anyways: make sure your carriage is in track. If you see 2 white wheels outside the track, you have to push the carriage up and back to make sure the wheels go in.
