orbitgrfx 0 Posted May 8, 2010 What is the vinyl of choice for cutting fine detail pinstriping for retail? Easy weeding is a consideration, also. As for flame graphics on motorcycles and helmets, cast is needed, but which is your preference? As a noob, I'm doing a vinyl order and need advice and direction..... hawkeyeent 0 Posted May 11, 2010 I've worked with Avery premium vinyl that has a great longetivity and conformity. However, it can be pricey (in the $40 range). After switching to Oracal 651 (15-20 dollar range) I would recommend this brand. Conforms great (Avery Prem. -2 mil, Oracal 651 - 2.5 mil), weeds great, and VERY cost efficient. Has about 4-5 year life where the premium is about 9 years (but not many applications need a a life THAT long!) Hope this helps. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
