machina 0 Posted April 30, 2010 Been cutting some longer vector images lately (48" +) and noticed that there is some difference in the X vs Y dimension. The longer plot length makes the problem more noticeable. Is there a way to calibrate the plotter to get the tolerance equall? Thanks, dr
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted April 30, 2010 what makes you think it is x/y and not your tracking? Longer cuts are where the tracking problem is? if you can cut a 3" x 3" 6"x6" or perfect square then I don't see how it could be x/y. You can also do test cuts with your machine. You can download your user manual from the Graphtec website or also call Graphtec tech support also you did not state what cutting software you are using. machina 0 Posted May 2, 2010 OK, maybe I am talking about tracking. I will do a 6x6 test and report back and check out the user manual. Thanks for the tips. dr
