eyeprod 0 Posted April 14, 2010 Hi all, We've recently purchased one of the zencut green 60 models and thought my experience with it might help some other frustrated users. -First off, let me say that I'm running vista 32bit on a laptop and interfacing with a usb cable. I've settled on the Signcut pro software that was bundled with the cutter. -Second, I'll cut to the chase and tell you that what finally worked for me was switching the "cutter" driver in signcut to the GCC JAGUAR J11-61. Boom, everything lines perfectly. Contour cutting, everything. Yay! We bought the cutter with the intention of using the contour cutting feature as well as the regular cutting features to produce labels for our metal products. This is my first experience with any cutter/plotter, but I do have many years experience in graphic design, pre-press, and screenprinting. I spent days, maybe weeks messing with the thing and finally have it working perfectly just by switching that driver. I've used various vector drawing software, but am now using coreldraw x4 version. I don't think that has anything to do with the problems that I was experiencing, which were mainly alignment problems when ganging up images on a page. I tried everything I could, including running through xp, and other cutting software. Signcut works the best with this cutter btw. I was about to give up or settle for a one-at-a-time production setup, but thankfully I tried that driver switch. Hope this helps you, kind reader!
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted April 14, 2010 Thanks! Now that you've got it cutting, how about a review...your impressions of the Zencut? A lot of people are wanting to know how these work.
eyeprod 0 Posted April 14, 2010 Well, the short answer is, this thing rules! I love it. Everything is working as it should now. With the PUMA PII-60 driver, I noticed that the preview mode in signcut was wonky. Now it's also working as expected with the driver switch. Back to the review: The controls are simple, and mostly intuitive. The build quality is very good. Aesthetics, pleasing The stand is excellent (very glad that I added it in the shopping cart ) After I've gotten used to the "green machine", it's become quite easy to cut out a quick decal. Like I was saying, the big problem for me was trying to cut multiple copies of the same image on one page, which included contour cutting. Again, everything is groovy now with that driver change. sammarvin 0 Posted June 21, 2010 So you actually say the Puma JAII-60 in the second one and the Jaguar JAII-60 in the first one. Which one is it. Here is my question. I can not get a piece of media to stay straight for the life of me. I can cut a decent item about 2 feet long at the most anything more than that my media seems to slip to one side or the other. Have you had any problems with this. Please help By The Way I use a Zen Cut Green 24 Inch and I have the stand of which notoriously does not line up with all the holes so the machine more or less just balances on top of it. The center stabilizer piece for the Stand is where I rest my rollers and media.
eyeprod 0 Posted July 8, 2010 it's the jaguar. as for the stand. I had no such problems with alignment. It went together with ease and lined up perfectly.
ZenCutter60 0 Posted June 8, 2016 I just posted a help request regarding getting my ZenCutGreen 60 to communicate with my HP laptop running Windows 8.1 at 64-bit. I bought my cutter from a friend and I know it works properly. His computer was an older model, so I know I must need a new driver or something. USCutter provided 0 help and the manual doesn't cover this.

Choose ZenCut under cutters http://www.uscuttersupport.com/downloads.html Then use the Signcut instructions for setting your cutter up
