Vinyl Not tracking through cutter straight

Recommended Posts

I tried to do my first bammer today. A simple 2x6 with the words Merry Christmas across it. I was cutting on 24" wide vinyl and wanted to cut the lenthwise. I unchecked the box that says rotate acroos vinyl. as th vinyl moves back and forth in the cutter, it moves a an angle eventually buckling against the side of the cutter. What am I doing wrong or not doing  to cause this?

I Hhave a "48" pcut.

Thanks in advance

Don. :thanks: :thanks:

Make sure you have the pinch rollers in the green sections so they are making contact with the feed rollers, or the material will not feed properly. Also I would suggest manually feeding the materil through a bit with your thumb next to it to check for drift, and if there is drift.....lift up the left pinch roller and adjust accordingly. Sometimes it takes 3-4 runs before you get it as strait as possible.
