which vinyl can you put on your walls?

Does anyone know the type of vinyl you can put on your walls?

Really, just about any kind of vinyl.

I wouldn't use translucent, as the paint color will distort the vinyl color.

I have used Oracal and Shinerite.

I have used glossy and matte.

I have used permanent and removable, prefer the permanent.

You do want to use a good quality vinyl though, so you don't have transparency.

Thanks everyone!  Do you also have to have transformation paper?  Or does that come on the back of it?

Oracal 631 at it is removable - if you use the permanent you risk taking off the drywall paper with it when you remove the graphic and that would be a bigger repair than it is worth
