Haha! looks like it  :P

Nah - Just helping out. Sort of a "BUMP" for ya :P

Here is my reply:

Thank you for updating me on which cutter you have. Your problem is caused by static electricity getting built up in the machine. There is a way to ground your cutter which I would advise you to do. All you will need is a piece of copper wire or speaker wire. We will then attach one end to the cutter and the other end to the stand. Attach it to the cutter on the underside under one of the screws located next to the 4 plastic feet. On the cutter stand, scrape some paint off underneath one of the screws and attach one end of the wire there. If the wire is connected to both the cutter and the stand the machine will be grounded and your problem should go away. Let me know if you have any more questions about this, or give us a call at 1-888-298-8143.

We Pocahontas?;D  long distance - and the stand will then be grounded to the machine as the machine is already grounded thru the plug.  Nice to see USC added more staff though

Well entertaining at least

well i fail to see how a bodge job of adding a bit of old speaker wire to the stand would help seeing as the plug is earthed anyway but hey i thought id eliminate it from the list so i gave it a go.

and its exactly the same as it was so bodging wire dont help.

you are correct that the cutter is grounded but the stand is not until connected to the cutter by the wire

funny nothing more to add . . .seemed strange that he didn't want to call tech support and it was stranger for someone to pay whipping to UK when they ahve a distributor for creation products.  that and for USC not to return his emails things just weren't adding up.  why aske sears to repair the item you bought from jcpenny

Asking for support and actually getting help from Howard when they did not even sell the cutter to himStating the days are just ticking by because they have not solved his problem takes some real guts.  He never said he bought it from them but implied it. We will help about anyone but when the air of deception arises we are outta here

Lock it John we are done here!
