Cutting twice

So my cutter (871) is cutting a decal then cutting it again ontop of it but slightly lower. Any ideas? My ground maybe?

Look at it in wire frame and make sure you dont have two layers if you do delete one of them

Yea wish it was something like that but its me so it cant be.

Are you cutting multiples or just one. If it's doing it if you're cutting just one, you likely have duplicate vectors in your design.

I is just one but there is only one vector in the file. I took a JPG and created outlines for it in AI.

If you're using live trace in AI, then you will almost always have duplicate vectors. Live trace treats black and white and separate entities and will trace both the black and the white. You'll have to ungroup, outline, ungroup again, exclude overlapping objects (if my memory serves correctly)

Also reset your machine after each job, I dont know if you are sending multiple jobs out to the cutter and its just restarting at the origin.

Make sure your software is set to only 1 pass.
