How do i install the Carriage ARM- why is there no instructions included?

Ok so i have the black face plate off. I have the bottom screw removed that is on the lower left hand side removed. Now what else do i do to remove the actual arm. It cant be this hard.... i dont understand why instructions are included when there's an actual problem.

Please help...i have 19 pending orders that i can even touch yet because of this part.
