Mh 871 with flexi

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I got my mh871

I let it warm up for 24 hours the began to set it up.

First I noticed that there is no ground cable?

On to the next problem.

I use flexi 8.1 I use the lpt port on the plotter and computer and use pnc-1000 driver in flexi.

As of right now I can not get it to cut.

It just says cutting 0%.

Also has anyone else received there 871 with the measuring scale on the front and back not alined?

is there any way you can take a pic of one of the wavy cuts after you weed it? And put a dime or something in the pic to show scale?

looks very familiar . . . another member had this problem and the problem went away when he took the cutter 60 miles away to another house.  I think it was suspected EMI

Anyone have any ideas?

The cutter can not be used because of this problem.

I move the cutter to a different part of the house and it still has the same problems

I am very dissapointed in us cutters

just a thought back the blade length back to where it just barely is visible and increase pressure

The blade is barley out.

I Tried increasing pressure.

Decreasing pressure.

Backing off blade and testing both.

Different blades.

I added two grounds.

I've tried different cables.

Different fonts.

Different brands of vinyl.

Different speeds.

I don't know what else to try

I tried taking the picture you can not see the blade in the picture.

I'm starting to think the cutter is deffictive.

It didn't even come with a test cut.

if you are in southern Ohio you may have the EFI problem - the other member finally went to a copam after trying everything else to solve the issue.  he took the cuttter to his moms 60 miles away and it worked great but in his home he never resolved it.  that was a very rare thing though

As of right now I am 10 miles from Detroit Michigan.

I really hope that is not the case and I wasted $360.

it is rare for the efi thing to be a problem.  have you contacted USC thru a support ticket to discuss it with them?

Have you tried changing the speed your cutter cuts at?  Try backing it down all the way to 4.....see if that makes a difference.  The right combo of speed and curve ca make mine do that sometimes, but I can usually back off the speed and it will cut nice n smooth.
