rodbuilder 0 Posted February 24, 2010 I don't know if you can do this in pcsign. I bought that pile of garbage and sent iot right back to them, BUT see of you can "export" the file on the "File" part of the menue, then export it to a folder as an EPS file. If that doesn't work I'm no help! Save your nickles and dimes and get even a USED copy of Flexi. you'll take that pcsign and run it through your paper shredder!!!!!!!!!! I paid $1400 for my Flexi 8.5 off ebay and it's the real deal.
Sis834 0 Posted April 4 Hi, I recently received files for a customers car vinyl. The creator used Flexisign Pro and they are saved as .FS files. We use WinPCSign 2012 & 2018. We do not have the luxury to switch out to a new software. Is there a way to convert these .FS files over to something that I can open in WinPCSign? The photo shows what files that can be imported into WinPCSign! any direction would be appreciated!! thank you sissy@rpperformanceracing.com
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted April 4 No, you would need the Flexi software to export as a different file format. Tell your customer to contact the creator or you contact the creator and send them in a format that you can use. Most would export as an .eps. Which can be used in most softwares. You would probably not even know which version of Flexisign pro that they used. An older version of Flexisign Pro cannot open newer files, or only up to a certain version. My Flexi software (10) is older and cannot open newer Flexi files. A newer version can open current and older files. It looks like they are up to version 22 now. slice&dice 2,450 Posted April 5 Down there in Sanford Florida, you can walk into a local Sign shop and ask for their help. Most retail signage places are implementing Flexi in their workflow.

Quite the drive to Florida. Their Facebook current page has them located in West Virginia. A poster is even thanking Sissy. Dot come page is West Virginia. slice&dice 2,450 Posted April 5 Oh My, I seem to have referenced the O-P (gossages) who indicates Sanford Fl. USA!!! That was over 14 years ago. Rarely do I need a local sign shop to assist, but keeping good relations open is important in our field (as it should be). Just a few weeks ago, a certain job I was doing required a specific shade of Green. Didn't need much, just a smidgen. Ta-Da! The local FastSigns came through for me, they're run by a good guy.
