Fox....What program did you use to trace the image b/c we tried doing it and we couldn't get it as clean as you did.

I used Vector Magic.  Amazing program and worth the expense when vectorizing a lot.  http://vectormagic.com/

I spent another 5-10 minutes doing cleanup work because once it is vectorized you still have lines that wouldnt cut cleanly.

I have vector but don't use it much I have been able to get such good results as others but then again I haven't spent a lot of time trying and inkscape seems to be easier and does a better job.  Any hints for vector magic are you using the auto feature?

It really depends on some of the images I from what I have seen.  I use a toss up of Illustrator and VM 50/50.  Most of the stuff I do in VM is from Hand drawn graphics.  On this one I used advanced mode and then after it was vectorized I spent about 10 minutes cleaning it up within VM.
