MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted December 14, 2009 offset should be .25 not 2.5 try that and work at +.05 intervals or -.05 intervals.
cutme 5 Posted December 14, 2009 you should also try calibrating your x and y factors on your plotter ( make sure a 1 inch square is actually a 1 inch square when cut). bb

cutme 5 Posted December 20, 2009 on your plotter there is a readout theat looks something like this... x_scale 25795 and y_scale 25858 these are the readings on my lp24. your readings may vary. use a pen in place of your blad and cut/draw a square on paper. measure the square and compare it to your drawing in the software you use for cutting. make small adjustments and try again until it measures the same on paper as it does on the computer. hint: the larger square you use, the more accurate the adjustment. of course this is asuming that the drive belts are properly tensioned on the cutter. bb
DK-Freestyle 0 Posted December 20, 2009 I have my offset at .25 with the press at about 125. Comes out perfect every time.
Jay2703 704 Posted December 20, 2009 I would definately change the offset before I messed with the X/Y Calibration. Jay
