What kind of heat press?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to start making a few shirts here and there. I've been doing vinyl graphics and industrial logos for jet skis for almost a year now, and I'm really interested in getting a heat press to start doing t-shirts. Not looking for something to fancy or expensive. I'll only be using it MAYBE once a month. Just want something that'll work when I need it to. Any recommendations? Also, is there any tips and info I need to know before I get started? I know that I need to mirror the material when I cut it, but is there anything else?

Sunie - direct from their site with 3 yr warranty!  - has over the center pressure adjustment like the more expensive units

Would never buy another Sunie.  Stick with the good brand names.  Much better deal for the money to get a used brand name like Mighty or Hix.

Thanks for the info everyone. I think I'll go with the SunIE because of the warranty. Just got to get funding approvals from my manager. Thanks guys!

Does the Sunie have an F or C temp guage.  If it's C how do you know when you're at the right temp.  Thinking about changing from my old swinger, but still not sure......
