Jeffrey06 2 Posted December 2, 2009 I've used my machine for almost a year?? Can't remeber. And for some reason today my machine is wanting to cut through my paper also. I switched to a new blade, no better. I have the blade set out from the holder just under the thickness of a Credit Card. I have my pressure setting on 40 now and it seeing to be doing better. Why do I have my pressure so low to make it not cut through the paper?? I've read people use 100 +. I've used 70-80 this whole time until today.. Any help would be great! Jay2703 704 Posted December 2, 2009 I would guess that your blade is out way too far. If your blade is adjusted properly, the bottom of the holder should keep the blade from penetrating that deep. Jay Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mr300s 1,272 Posted December 2, 2009 Take you finger (be careful) and run you finger along the bottom of it until you can just barley feel it or take it out of the machine keep it in the holder and run it on a piece of vinyl on your table until you have the right depth.
