Brandon_Davis 1 Posted November 12, 2009 These are all great changes ... I understand them as I have cut very extensively with this machine, however what makes the machine so great is the value it presents as far as price. Most of these mods can be done by you... The machine is pretty mod friendly!
YadirellT 0 Posted November 12, 2009 These are great suggestions. These cutters are of great value, and we'll look for other ways to make improvements on them, and keep the cost down.
bamafan2277 50 Posted November 12, 2009 Biggest thing I would like is to slow it down more. Liked Brandon said the other stuff can be modded pretty easily! I'm thinking of attaching a cold cathode light tube under the cover of my cutter to provide some light.
Guest HowardI Posted November 12, 2009 That's some great feedback but I'd like to point out one small thing. The USB 1.0 transfers data at a rate of 12 million bits per second, USB 2.0 is 480 million. The baud rate of the serial port that is being run by this USB interface is 9,600 bits per second. (9 thousand 6 hundred). The 12 MILLION being used by USB 1.0 is WAY faster than the speed at which the cutter can receive it. So honestly it doesn't matter if it's USB 1 or USB 2 for this machine. You can purchase another pinch roller from our website in the parts section and add it to the machine. it's quite easy to install. The manual is in process already! :-) It's not possible to upgrade the RAM on this machine, it's soldered to the board and can not be changed. The carriage arm normally has only one hole. Holder goes in the rear opening. The driver for the PCut CT630 we sell is the PCut CT630 for signcut, in signblazer you want the PCut driver that is designated HPGL. Hope that some of this is useful info! Howard Irwin Support Specialist US Cutter 425-481-3555 888-298-8143 - Option
bamafan2277 50 Posted November 12, 2009 Any fix for the cut speed issue Howard? If you have any chips left that go down to 10 I would love to get my hands on one. I will be looking into the additional pinch roller.
