cuttingedge 1 Posted October 28, 2009 If you're just trying to make a straight line, why not just use the line tool, click, hold shift and drag to the right or left, click, and then let go of shift. This will create a straigt line, perfectly horizontal.
han7681 0 Posted October 28, 2009 thans for replying actually im correcting the file. the lines are not straight. i want to make all straight. thanks Untitled-3.ai Untitled-3.ai
cuttingedge 1 Posted October 28, 2009 Depending on what it is, sometimes it is easier to just recreate the file than to try to correct the lines that aren't straight. If it isn't too hard to do, it will ensure that you have straight lines, when they need to be. Untitled-3[1].ai Untitled-3[1].ai
Karl 0 Posted November 30, 2009 if its single lines, pick one line at a time and click the line , go to one end, click the "handle" it should highlight, click and hold that handle and press shift then move the end of the line around and put it close to where you want it. the shift forces a straight line. play with it for a while, it will become self evident.
