MacPro / VM Fusion (XP Pro SP2) / SBE / LP24 / Keyspan

Does anyone know how to make them all work together?

There was a previous post from a user who had an LP and was running Fusion. I'm in the same boat I'm running Fusion so I can get to SBE without having to do a reboot to an XP to layout and cut.

I'm using a keyspan because the cutter will vibrate the USB connect loose. It worked when I booted directly to XP, but I'm trying to cut through Fusion and I can't get squat. I've installed/uninstalled/installed (several times) the drivers for the keyspan device.

Has anyone out there gotten this combination to work? or does anyone have any advice on how to get it working?

I don't have the cash to to sink into the Flexi cutting software for the Mac side yet.

I figured it out ... dang!

I needed to open up the settings on the Fusion s/w and enable that particular device. You'd think that Fusion would just enable everything that's connected to the computer.

Anyway, I got it to work. Only time will tell if it proves to be a stable / consistent connection. Keep your fingers crossed!!
