PCut from USCutter USB

MY cutter well only cut if I turn it off pull out the Usb connection , turn it on and plug in the connection

I hear the computer uninstall and install , if i just design and go cut the software just goes not responding

and i lose my design I have to save everything first or i might lose it

I tried new cable , diff coms  this machine only as USb no Serial

changed braun rate also I design my work load the vinyl get the cutter in position then I have to turn off the cutter

unplug usb turn cutter on and plug in usb  works perfect then But i have to do this every time

it is a pain and if i forget and hit cut i go to not responding and sometimes have to shut down my computer to get out of it

Use the new bie information to remove the usb driver and install the latest usb driver by download.

let us know the progress.

What windows are you using?  is it 32 or 64 bit?

What cutting software?

What are your software configurations settings?

I had the same problem with Vista 64,

You could cut once and then it wouldn't respond..  I never could figure out it was very sparatic..

If you have a serial connection option I would recommend switching over.. My Pcut only has usb.. I got a dedicated cutting machine with xp on it and haven't had any problems since

I am cutting with winpcsign mostly and sometimes use flexi 7.5

same thing don't have a serial connection only USB changed cables

and also installed software to my laptop same problem

tried different braun from 9600 to 19200 same problem usin com 3

if i just click cut the software is not responding I have to shut off cutter

unplug usb from cutter i hear the sound on my computer where you unplug

I have not used WinpcSign but I had trouble with Signblazer and had better luck with FlexiSign and still use it today as my only software to cut with.. Make sure your turning your cutter on before loading the software. I know FlexiSign sometimes has a tendency to not see the cutter if it wasnt running before the software started..
