Jagged Letters

I noticed on my letters that wherever the blade picks up and goes back down to cut it snags the letters a bit. Also, what do I need to do, when I weed the letters they want to pull up, not stay applied to the backing. What settings do I need to adjust to keep them from pulling up? Any help would be much appreciated.

Blade is probably out too far, and you might be cutting in to the backing too deep. You should hardly be able to see just the very tip of the blade exposed from the blade holder when the blade depth is set right. Also, use a pressure setting of at least 120 or higher on the cutter itself.

I will try backing the blade depth off some. I have my pressure set at 135.
