Guest kenya Posted July 13, 2009 After adopting a new little dog last week from the local Humane Society, I asked the owner if she would be interested in me making a bunch of decals up with different breeds of dogs & she could sale them in the H.S. store. She loved the idea & now I'm looking for all breeds. I'm charging very little in hopes that they make some extra $ to go towards helping the animals. But this is for such a great cause. I've found some great files posted on here already & repodon is looking for a couple of breeds also. Head shots or full body would be great. Thanks in advance !! Here's my new little addition. It's unreal what people will pay for an animal & most end up in shelters. This little girl was SO mistreated. She has many health issues. Her muscles have atrophied from being in a small cage for 5 months. Her lungs are in bad shape from the breathing the filthy conditions & this has caused her heart to enlarge. She's on 3 different meds & it's going to be touch & go for a while. If she doesn't make it, at least she will know what a loving home was like for what time she has left. Please keep you fingers crossed & say a little prayer for her. Love your little doggie. What a cutie. And you are so right. Big_Al 1 Posted July 14, 2009 I think it is great that you are able and willing to take on a dog with health problems. We got our dog 3 years ago when she was 6 weeks old and the mother stopped feeding her. As she got older we noticed that on her back legs her "knees" would actually flex the wrong way a little. We took her to the vet and then to see a specialist and found out her hips and legs are deformed. They didn't even think that surgery would be an option and she would be crippled and unable to walk within a year. We were crushed but made the decision to let her enjoy life and deal with problems as they came up. That was almost two years ago and she is still running and playing like most dogs. She gets sore if she does too much but for the most part it is hard to tell. Being a big dog (130lbs) she is already prone to hip problems but so far so good. She had many people interested in her because of her breed, but when they found out about her health problems- they would walk away. WOW 130 lbs. , what a big Girl you have! If you hadn't stepped in, she would surely not have made it. And she loves you for it. That's all the animals ask for........... something to eat & to be loved. This zip file has about 50 real nice cuttable dogs. I came across it while looking for a Dobey for a customer. Member's name that posted the zip file is Zombie. I am not associated with them just purchased there cd with LOTs of great images. They have a package for over 200 breeds for only $66 bucks. A great buy considering all the files are ready to cut. This is National Horse Show & Convention week, starts tomorrow with horse/cart compitition, then Sunday Trail Trials and then next Thursday the five day horse show... Beth 0 Posted September 23, 2009 cutting the logo of animal adoption groups for them to use as advertising is a good way to use your cutter to give back to the community...I foster for a local chihuahua rescue and it gets their website address out when the logos are on members cars....now with so many people having financial problems and more dogs having to be taken in, it really helps for just a little of your time and vinyl....
