europeancardriver 1 Posted June 30, 2009 Hello, Not sure where to post this?? I am trying to take car logo's (black) and simple cut them. All of them are in .eps and high resolution. I have signblazer and flexistarter. I also downloaded inkscape and own abobe photoshop 7.0. What is the simpliest way to get these ready for cut (vectorizing). I have tried various things with no luck and looked over the inkscape vectorizing post which does not appear to get the edges clean enough for a good cut. I would assume there is a program that you press vectorize and bam it is ready to go. Any thoughts, ideas. Thanks, Tyler

midwaste 4 Posted June 30, 2009 .Eps files are typically vector already. There are several different softwares for vectorizing; VectorMagic, like SJ said above, you can use LiveTrace in Illustrator, Inkscape, Corel, and a few others that "auto" vectorize. However, you are going to have to play with settings to get it right, and many times manually modify points and other aspects.
